The digital side of your operation. Handled.
I build websites for commercial security integrators. One trade, owner direct. The job of every page is a booked estimate.

A note from the owner
I’m Nicholas Sutton, founder of Sutton Digital Works and the person who answers when you call.
Before I built websites, I fixed things for a living: phones and computers behind the counter at RadioShack, IT support for small businesses, and years running transfer trucks, end dumps, and lowbeds on a CDL. I come from trade work, and I build to a trade standard: show up, do it right, stand behind it.
Every SDW site is built by me personally, start to finish: no account managers, no hand-offs, no offshore team. When you call, you’re talking to the person who built your site.
No bots. No runaround. Built for the long haul.
Nicholas Sutton, Founder
Three things the big agencies won't give you
We checked. The agencies serving the trades either hide their prices, keep your website hostage, or treat security and cabling like an afterthought. So we built the opposite.
Honest numbers, published
Nobody else in this niche shows prices. Ours are on the site: builds from $2,497, care at $99/mo, SEO from $799/mo. You'll never need a "discovery call" just to learn what things cost.
You own everything
Your domain. Your website. Your content. Your ad accounts and their history. From day one, forever. It's written into our agreement. If you ever leave, you leave with all of it.
Your trade, spoken natively
Cameras, access control, cabling, networks. Nicholas comes from electronics repair, IT support, and years of CDL heavy-haul work. You'll never have to explain what a cable certification is to your own marketing guy.
Build. Support. Grow.
One partner for the whole digital job, the same way you'd run a project. Every price below is "starting at," and every proposal gives you an exact number that doesn't move unless you add scope.
Websites that win jobs
Mobile-first sites engineered to turn "security camera installation near me" into booked estimates. Most of your work comes from referrals, GCs, and bid lists. Your site's other job is to survive that lookup and close the job. Three tiers, 30 to 90 day builds, training included.
- Service Site: from $2,497
- Lead Engine: from $4,997
- Market Leader: from $9,997
Site Care Plans
Hosting, updates, daily backups, security with a guaranteed fix if anything gets through, plus a monthly report in plain English. You sell monitoring contracts; this is monitoring for your website.
- Site Care: $99/mo · everything included
Make the phone ring
Local SEO, Google Ads management, and missed-call rescue, built around the jobs you actually want, reported in numbers you can read in two minutes.
- Local SEO: from $799/mo
- Ads Management: $499/mo + spend
- Never Miss a Lead: $199/mo
A real website without the big check
New site, hosting, full care plan, and one improvement sprint every month: one flat monthly number. Twelve months minimum, then month-to-month. And here's the part nobody else offers: after month 12, the site is 100% yours. Period. Limited to 8 active partners.
Four steps. One point of contact.
Plan
A 15-minute call and a short questionnaire. We map pages, cities, and goals before touching a pixel.
Build
Watch progress live on a private staging link. Questions go straight to Nicholas, not a ticket queue.
Launch
Tested on phones, tablets, and desktops. Zero-downtime go-live with Google fully wired.
Protect & Grow
Your care plan keeps it fast and secure; growth plans scale it. We stay in your corner.
"Built for the Long Haul" is a checklist, not a slogan.
Two rules govern every build. K.I.S.S.: keep it simple; if it isn't simple, it isn't finished. And BUILT FOR THE LONG HAUL: the eight checks below, passed before any site ships. Simple on day one. Solid in year five.
Lean
No plugin bloat, no dead weight. Fast because there's less to load, and less to break.
Owned
Your domain, your site, your content. Walk away anytime; everything goes with you.
No surprises
Standard parts, predictable behavior. No mystery breakage, no surprise bills.
Global
Your number, prices, and hours live in one place. Change once. It updates everywhere.
Handover-ready
Documented so any pro could take over tomorrow. That's how little we lock you in.
Automated
Backups, updates, and monitoring run nightly, whether anyone's watching or not.
Upgrade-safe
Built so software updates can't break what makes your site yours.
Logged
Every change recorded, every version kept. Anything can be rolled back.
Two complete builds you can click through right now
Sutton Digital Works is new, and I am not going to pretend otherwise with a wall of borrowed client logos. So I built two finished sites instead, one for a commercial security integrator, one for a structured cabling contractor, and put both online in full. The companies are fictional and every page says so. The engineering is exactly what you would get.
Ironline Security Systems
Video surveillance, access control, intrusion and monitoring. Published pricing on every system, a per-door cost breakdown most integrators have never been shown in writing, and a Fort Worth city page built to rank for “security camera installation.”
- 8 pages, fully written
- 58 KB and 3 requests per page
- Four-step quote funnel
- Local SEO city page with schema
Datum Cabling & Networks
Cat6A, fiber, data center build-out and wireless. Per-drop pricing published in the open, a data center money page, and an Austin city page. Deliberately shares no design DNA with the Ironline build: same builder, two weeks apart.
- 8 pages, fully written
- 66 KB and 3 requests per page
- Line-item quote funnel
- Local SEO city page with schema
Every page on both sites loads in under 70 KB across three requests. No page builder, no plugin bloat, no webfonts. That is what “Built for the Long Haul” looks like as a number instead of a slogan, and it is the same standard your site gets built to.
Built by someone who's actually pulled cable
Nicholas Sutton spent his working life on the technical side: electronics repair at RadioShack, IT support, website work, and years of CDL heavy-haul driving before founding Sutton Digital Works. He answers his own phone, builds every site personally, and speaks your language natively. That's why the tagline isn't marketing: Built for the Long Haul.
The questions everyone asks first
What does a website actually cost?
Builds start at $2,497 and are scoped after the $497 audit. The audit credits in full toward the build. Exact number in your proposal. It doesn't move unless you add scope.
Do you only work with commercial security integrators?
Yes. Cameras, access control, fire, and structured cabling. One trade, known deep. That focus is why the sites work. If your business is outside the niche, I'm happy to point you to someone good.
What happens if I ever want to leave?
You take everything with you: domain, site, content, ad accounts. It's in the agreement. We keep clients with results, not contracts.
