What we collect
Information you give us. When you use our quote form, call, text, or email us, we receive what you choose to share: typically your name, company, phone number, email, and details about your project. That's it, and only because you sent it.
Information collected automatically. Like nearly every website, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type). This uses cookies. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and performance. None of this identifies you by name.
How we use it
To respond to your inquiry (usually within one business day), to provide the services you hire us for, to send service-related communications, and to understand how the website performs. If you gave us your phone number in the quote form, we may call or text you back about your request. That's why you gave it to us.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to marketers. We do not add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for. Your information exists here for one reason: so we can help you.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that make this website and business run: our hosting provider (Cloudflare), Resend (which delivers quote form emails), Google Workspace (email), and Google Analytics. Each processes data on our behalf under their own privacy safeguards. Beyond that, we'd share information only if the law required it.
Cookies & analytics choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings anytime. The site works fine without them. You can also opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google's browser opt-out add-on.
How long we keep it
Inquiry details are kept as long as needed to serve you and for reasonable business records. If you'd like your information removed, ask. See below.
Your choices & rights
Want to know what we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted? Email nicholas@suttondigitalworks.com or call/text (512) 893-7774 and it's handled by Nicholas, not a request queue. Texas residents: we honor the spirit of the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act regardless of whether its thresholds technically apply to a business our size.
The boring-but-important rest
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. Links to other websites (including client sites in our portfolio) are governed by those sites' own policies. If we update this policy, the new version gets posted here with a new effective date. No silent changes.
