Commercial security integration · DFW

Cameras that record. Doors that lock. Systems that stay up.

Ironline designs, installs, and maintains commercial video surveillance, access control, and intrusion systems across the Fort Worth metroplex. We walk your building, write a real scope with real numbers, and stand behind it for the life of the system.

What it costs

Our numbers, before you call.

Nobody in this trade publishes pricing. We think that's a bad habit — you deserve to know whether we're in your range before you spend an hour on a walkthrough. These are real installed ranges from work we did in the last 12 months across DFW.

System
Typical installed
What drives the number
Video surveillance8–16 cameras, single building
$9,500 – $24,000
Camera count and resolution, days of retention, whether we can reuse existing cabling, and how much of the run is outdoors or in conduit.
Access controlPriced per opening
$1,800 – $3,400 per door
Door hardware condition is the whole story. A modern aluminum storefront is the low end; a fire-rated door needing a new frame, strike, and closer is the high end.
Intrusion detectionPlus monitoring
$2,800 – $7,500
Zone count and building size. Central-station monitoring runs $65–$140/month per site depending on verification and cellular backup.
Service agreementIronline Uptime Plan
from $185 / mo
Quarterly on-site checks, firmware and health monitoring, priority dispatch, and labor included on covered work. Most single-building sites land at $185–$425.

Why we publish this

Because the alternative wastes your time and ours. If your budget is $4,000 and a proper 12-camera system is $14,000, both of us would rather know that today. Every quote we issue is fixed-price against a written scope — if we missed something, that's our problem, not a change order.

How we work

The scope is written before anybody signs anything.

You've probably been handed a one-page quote that said "camera system — $18,400" with no detail. That's how people end up with change orders. Here's ours instead.

  • Every device listed by location. Camera 7 is on the northeast dock, at 11 feet, on a 30-foot run. You can check our work.
  • Fixed price against that scope. If we underestimated the conduit run, that's our margin, not your change order.
  • You own everything. Your recorder, your licenses, your credentials, your camera footage. If you fire us, nothing goes dark and nothing gets held hostage.
  • Standard, serviceable parts. No proprietary lock-in that makes you a hostage in year four when a board fails.

Loss on the outbound dock with no usable footage. We rebuilt coverage around the dock doors and yard gate, added LPR at the entrance, and moved retention from 9 days to 45.

In their words

What our clients actually say

"Our last integrator disappeared and we couldn't even log into our own recorder. Ironline got us back in, handed us the admin credentials in writing, and told us to keep them somewhere safe. Nobody had ever done that."

Facilities Director · Distribution, Fort Worth

"They walked 42 doors and gave us a spreadsheet with every one priced separately. We cut six openings from the first phase and they didn't blink. That's when I knew the number was honest."

Property Manager · Multi-tenant office, Arlington

"A camera went down on second shift and I had a tech on site before third shift started. That's the entire reason we pay for the service plan."

Plant Manager · Manufacturing, Grand Prairie

Common questions

Before you call, you're probably wondering

How much does a commercial security system cost?

A camera system of 8–16 cameras in a single building runs $9,500 to $24,000 installed. Access control is priced per opening at $1,800 to $3,400 a door. Intrusion runs $2,800 to $7,500 plus $65–$140 a month to monitor. The full table with what drives each number is further up this page — we publish it because if your budget and our number don't meet, both of us would rather know today than after a walkthrough.

Can you work with the cameras we already have?

Usually, yes — if they're ONVIF-compliant and the image quality still meets your need, we'll keep them and put them on the new platform. On the Grand Prairie plant we reused 61% of the existing cameras. We'll tell you honestly which ones are worth keeping and which ones are costing you the footage you actually need.

What happens if we stop working with you?

Nothing goes dark. You own the hardware, the licenses, the recordings, and the administrator credentials from day one. We'll hand your next integrator the as-built documentation. We'd rather earn the next job than trap you into it.

How fast can you get someone here when something breaks?

Four hours anywhere in the DFW metroplex for clients on an Uptime Plan, 24 hours a day. Without a plan, next business day, best effort. That difference is the entire argument for the plan.

Do we have to sign a long monitoring contract?

Our monitoring runs month to month after the first year. We've never believed a three-year auto-renewing contract is what keeps a client — showing up when the alarm trips is what keeps a client.

Are you licensed to do this in Texas?

Yes. Licensed by the Texas DPS Private Security Bureau - fully insured, fully insured, and every field technician carries NICET certification and current OSHA training. We'll send certificates of insurance to your GC or property manager on request.
