Capabilities

Everything between the demarc and the desk

Six service lines, one crew standard, and the same deliverable at the end of every one: certified links, tested results, and documentation you keep.

01 · Structured cabling

Copper, installed to standard and proven

Horizontal cabling is the least glamorous line item in a build and the one most likely to cause problems for the next fifteen years. Bend radius, cable ties overtightened, runs over 90 meters, pathway fill past capacity — every one of those is invisible on day one and expensive in year three.

  • Cat6 and Cat6A horizontal, plenum or riser rated to match your building.
  • TIA-568 compliant installation with documented bend radius, support spacing, and fill ratios.
  • Patch panels and outlets labeled to TIA-606 on both ends, matched to a schedule you receive.
  • Every link certified with a calibrated tester. Results delivered as PDF and raw tester file.

$185 – $310 per Cat6 drop · $240 – $420 per Cat6A drop, installed and tested.

02 · Data center

Build-out, cross-connect, and the MACs that follow

A data center is the one environment where sloppy cabling has an immediate, measurable cost: airflow blocked, ports unfindable, a change window blown because nobody could trace a cable. Everything here is about the two years after the build, not the build.

  • Cabinet and rack build with proper vertical and horizontal management, grounding, and PDU coordination.
  • Structured cross-connect so patching never means running a new cable across the room.
  • Change-controlled MACs — every move, add and change logged and reflected in the documentation.
  • Airflow-aware routing, because cable bundles in the wrong place are a cooling problem you'll pay for monthly.

03 · Fiber optics

Backbone, splicing, and certification that proves it

Fiber either works perfectly or fails in ways that are maddening to diagnose. The difference is almost always termination quality and whether anyone actually tested the link rather than just confirming a light turned green.

  • Single-mode (OS2) and multimode (OM3/OM4) backbone, riser, plenum, and outside-plant.
  • Fusion splicing with splice-loss readings recorded per splice, not just per run.
  • OTDR and insertion loss testing on every strand, bidirectional where the standard calls for it.
  • Emergency restoration — a cut backbone is the call we drop everything for.

$2,200 – $6,800 per inter-closet backbone run · $45 – $95 per strand terminated.

04 · Wireless & DAS

Coverage problems are usually placement problems

The default fix for bad Wi-Fi is more access points, and it's usually wrong. Adding APs to a poorly designed deployment adds co-channel interference — more radios, worse performance, larger invoice. A survey costs less than the APs you don't need.

  • Predictive surveys from your floor plans, with construction materials actually modeled.
  • On-site validation surveys that measure what's really happening at the shelf, the aisle, and the loading dock.
  • AP mounting and cabling done properly — the right height, the right orientation, out of the forklift's way.
  • In-building DAS for concrete, tilt-wall and metal buildings where cell phones simply don't work.

Predictive survey $1,200 – $3,500 · On-site validation survey $2,500 – $6,000, credited against installation.

05 · MDF / IDF build-outs and remediation

The room everyone is afraid to touch

Almost every building has one: a closet with fifteen years of undocumented cable, half of it abandoned, none of it labeled, and a rule that nobody unplugs anything. We fix those.

Step 1

Trace and verify

Every cable toned out and confirmed live or dead. Nothing gets pulled on assumption — we prove it first, in writing, before touching anything.

Step 2

Remove and re-dress

Abandoned cable removed (which code requires anyway), live runs re-dressed into proper management, and airflow restored to equipment that's been running hot for years.

Step 3

Label and document

TIA-606 labeling on both ends, a port-to-outlet schedule, rack elevation drawings, and photographs. The room becomes navigable by someone who's never seen it.

Typically two to four days per closet

We schedule around your change windows and nothing goes down that wasn't already down. Most clients tell us the value shows up the first time somebody needs to find a port in a hurry and it takes ten seconds instead of an afternoon.

06 · AV, paging & low-voltage

The infrastructure side of everything else low-voltage

We're a cabling contractor, not a security integrator or an AV house, and we're clear about that line. What we do is the infrastructure those trades depend on — and we coordinate with them rather than competing.

  • Conference room and huddle space cabling — HDMI, USB-C, network, and floor boxes for AV integrators to land on.
  • Overhead paging and background music distribution for warehouses and manufacturing floors.
  • Camera and access control cable plant installed to spec for whichever integrator your client uses.
  • Pathway, tray, J-hooks and firestopping for any low-voltage trade following behind us.

What we don't do — on purpose

We don't program AV control systems, we don't sell or monitor security systems, and we don't do line-voltage electrical. Every one of those is a specialty that deserves a specialist.

If you need one, we'll hand you two or three names of Central Texas shops we've worked alongside and trust. We get nothing for the referral. It's just faster than watching you find out the hard way.

Next step

Send us the drawings. We'll send back a real number.

Floor plans, a rack elevation, or a rough drop count is enough to start. You get a line-item quote — drops, pathway, terminations, testing, and documentation priced separately, so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
